Daily Passion Prompt 1| What Would You Do If You Knew You Could Not Fail?

First, let’s address what you would do if you knew you would fail. What would you do if you knew you could fail? Would you stop? Would you stop chasing your dreams? Would you stop pursuing your passion?

Given the fact that I have had this question in my mind, since the end of high school, I have a lot to say on the matter. I have always had a creative and artistic spirit, but with that comes a lot of self doubt. But the main point I want to discuss is this—by  trying to attempt or conquer something in life, you are already succeeding by trying. The definition of success can be viewed as follows: “the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors”

Succeeding at something doesn’t always have to reap rewards. If you receive a better understanding and have learned from your particular endeavor, you have gained so much.

I would rather have pursued my passions in life than to say I never tried. It’s a regrettable feeling and missed opportunities could be detrimental to your future. So take a leap of faith or inspiration and succeed without failing.

If I couldn’t fail at anything, I would try to excel in everything I wanted to pursue in life. I would do what I’m doing now, which is to fearlessly pursue my passions in life. I made a decision awhile ago to pursue my passions despite of the fear and doubt that I had towards failing. I would try and live out my dreams of becoming an artist and truly express myself through art and photography. I am on my journey now  and has been absolutely incredible. I have a long way to go but we will see how it pans out.

We only learn by trying. I don’t see “failure” but ways to modify plans, make adjustments, seek advice… Some of our greatest achievements and heroes are a result of perseverance. Go get ’em!

Hello! I just posted my response to this question, and came to check out yours! I liked how you flipped around the question a bit. It’s definitely concur that with the creative spirit, can come a lot of self doubt! You really hit the nail on the head with that!

I also really like your photography, “Autumn Leaves” were my favorite though. I’m so jealous that you already have some changing leaves to capture! It’s still hot here in Idaho! I just started my own blog, and will be featuring quite a few of my photographs. I’d love some feedback from you. Ya know, one photographer to another. Loved your post!
