PHOTO-EDITING-SOFTWARE

As a photographer, editing is one of the biggest parts of our schedule after a session. Editing photos can take weeks or even months depending on your session size (number of people) or event, and being able to edit your photos in a timely fashion is important. When a photographer doesn’t have the time to edit a session as intently as they want, editing with actions or presets, speed up the time spent editing. Portrait Plus offers quick editing presets to enhance your photos and this editing software is very easy to use. They have also created the most used app on the market, called Perfect 365 which is widely used on Instagram.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were many options to choose from once I opened Portrait Plus. You have the option of 10

presets to choose from.

Here is my before:

GRWMBefore

The Lovely Photog (Before)

GRWM-Enhanced_1_1AFTER

The Lovely Photog (Portrait Plus w/ Presets Used)

GRWMPhotoshopAfter

The Lovely Photog (Photoshop CS6 w/ Actions Used)

As you can see in the examples above, Portrait Plus offers a professional and smooth editing result in using their software. I edited my original picture with Photoshop CS6 (valued at $949 on Amazon) and Portrait Plus is up to par with them on portrait editing. Although you can’t add actions or edit the lighting, Portrait Plus is a perfect addition to any photographer or bloggers editing software.

Pros:

Great face mapping and detection. User doesn’t have to detect the faces themselves

You can upload more than one photo at a time or select a whole folder for editing

10 presets to choose from for editing your photos

You can also add or remix some of the editing choices to make your own presets

You can adjust each level of editing choices

You can adjust the facial points if you want to change it (There are tutorials on the website to help with that)

You can choose which face to edit or all of the faces in the photo, if there is more than one person in photo

Portraits come out sharp and defined

Inexpensive and easy to maneuver

This looks like a nice program. Lots of features. I currently use Lightroom CC for editing my photos. I love all the presets that are available and the brushes that allow you to further adjust your editing.

It’s pretty good if you want a little extra or quickly edit a blog post. I wouldn’t personally use it for a photo session but it’s pretty great otherwise 🙂 I use Lightroom 5 and love it 🙂

Thanks so much for stopping by Patricia!

Hi, LeSha! This editing software sounds amazing! Alas, I am SO not on your level. Hell, I’m just now getting the hang of PicMonkey.

Baby steps for me, my friend…baby steps. lol
