Blogtember 30| The Last Post

I am sad that blogtember is over and I wish I had time to post more but I had a few major tests I had to study for and didn’t have time. Although I did try and catch up like I had done for the Passion Press Daily series (Daily Passion Prompt), but for some reason WordPress deleted my post. I posted for the days I missed of Blogtember with pictures and everything and when I tried to edit the post, everything I had done was gone 😦 So I didn’t want to go through that again but rather make sure I posted on the last day.

Blogtember #30

Share a photo of something old. Maybe something that has personal history for you, that was passed down to you, and that has special meaning to you. Tell us about it and why it’s special.

THE VOW
COPYRIGHT 2013 THE LOVELY PHOTOG

I have written about my wedding ring in a previous post, you can check out here. I will forever cherish the beautiful sentiment that my husband gave me 3 years ago. Some people would ask, does it matter if you have a ring to prove your love or would the proof of love be enough for you? In my personal opinion, a ring is a confirmation for most, but I wouldn’t need it to be with the one I love. Now is it nice to have? Heck yeah! 🙂

Catching Up with Daily Passion Post 17-22|Passion Press Daily

LeSha Brewer Photography & Designs LLC

I have been so busy with undergrad work and SAHM duties that I have neglected my daily posting with Passion Press Daily.

I chose a few of the ones that interested me the most, and I have included them in short detail below. I figure, it’s better to have posted, than never to have posted at all lol

Happy Reading!

Daily Passion Post #16

What if you won the lottery tomorrow and you were set for life (financially).  Fast-forward three months later.

What would you be doing?  Where would you be living?  Who would you be surrounded by?  Why?

If I won the lottery, I would travel the world. I would interest my daughter to different cultures. I would definitely choose to live in another country, and would bring my immediate family with me. I have always wanted to live in London. Beautiful with so much history. But then my southern mom would talk me out of it, so I would move to the quiet country and live the rest of my life in peace and quiet 🙂

Daily Passion Post #19

Imagine that you’re 80 years old, sitting in your rocking chair reflecting back on your life.

What do you want to look back on?  What memories do you want to smile about?

I’m going to look back at all the friends I’ve made, all of the good and bad things I put myself through, raising my child(ren) , being a good wife , and learning so much about myself through trial and error. I will think about all of the crazy and quirky jobs and hobbies I’ve had and spontaneous things I was able to do as a younger person. Being a photographer also allows me to have a physical memory in a photo, for me to be able to look back and reflect on the many wonderful moments with family.

Daily Passion Post #20

What do you want people to remember you by?

I want people to remember that I was a kind-hearted person. Passionate about life and loving.

Daily Passion Post #21

What pisses you off more than anything else?

What upsets me the most is liars and bigots. I pray for these people daily.

Daily Passion Post #22

Which topics or beliefs of yours do you always defend and argue with other people about?

The only topic I generally get in arguments with people about is politics. I hate talking about politics and lately I’d rather read about it than talk about it.

Tell Me…

Did you think about any of these questions? How do you feel about the passion press daily questions asked in this post?

Daily Passion Prompt 5| What’s Your Favorite Section In The Bookstore?

Image

I would have to say there are a few sections in the bookstore that I gravitate too.

Murder/Suspense

Psychological Thrillers

Photography

Art/Poetry

Classic Literature

Self Help/Relationship

My favorite section will always be the self help section. There is something about learning so much about self improvement in you as well as in your relationships. It has truly been very beneficial to have studied about dealing with whatever may come my way. I encourage everyone to check out this section of your bookstore if you haven’t frequented it before and have a look around. There’s a book for anyone there. Who doesn’t want to self improve? 🙂

I’m always looking for ways to be a better person in life.

My Personality Results

“INFJ
Introvert(56%)  iNtuitive(25%)  Feeling(25%)  Judging(39%)

Personality Profile:

Excerpt:

“Usually self-expression comes more easily to INFJs on paper, as they tend to have strong writing skills. Since in addition they often possess a strong personal charisma, INFJs are generally well-suited to the “inspirational” professions such as teaching (especially in higher education) and religious leadership. Psychology and counseling are other obvious choices, but overall, INFJs can be exceptionally difficult to pigeonhole by their career paths. Perhaps the best example of this occurs in the technical fields. Many INFJs perceive themselves at a disadvantage when dealing with the mystique and formality of “hard logic”, and in academic terms this may cause a tendency to gravitate towards the liberal arts rather than the sciences. However, the significant minority of INFJs who do pursue studies and careers in the latter areas tend to be as successful as their T counterparts, as it is *iNtuition* — the dominant function for the INFJ type — which governs the ability to understand abstract theory and implement it creatively.”

Career Choices:

“INFJs are effective in occupations involving substantial intellectual work, caring for other people, and requiring creativity. INFJs build successful careers in a broad range of organizations. Social and community care services, counseling, teachers of humanities and social sciences, healthcare workers (both in administration and in medical services), various service-oriented professions as well as religious services and social movements are just some of the examples of occupations favourable to INFJs. Quite often they are found in mid-rank management positions. For some of them occupations in sciences or academia are also favourable.”

Social Services, Health Care , Arts & Humanities

How these results resonate with me: I have taken this personality test plenty of times before. I have taken it in High School as well as in College and the results have always been the same. It’s pretty dead on in accuracy. Proof of that, is the fact that I have majored for parts of my college career in all three areas. I started in Social Services by first studying Psychology as my first major choice. Soon after, I was considering majoring in social work, but I soon changed my mind about that. These subjects are interesting to learn about, but I’m not necessarily attracted to it as a profession.

I wanted to tap more into my creative side, so I decided to change my degree plan to Liberal Arts with the 3 areas of study being Psychology, Sociology and Health Science. I should be done with this degree very soon but that’s what brings me to the Health Care portion of my Career Test. I am majoring in nursing currently and will be postponing my Liberal Arts Degree to obtain my Bachelor’s Degree as a Registered Nurse.

Overall,  I feel like the test results were pretty accurate. I have spoken about being an introvert in previous posts, in which you can check out in my Inspiration section of the blog. I’m a quiet introvert, who has learned to adapt to large crowds and speaking engagements, and has a creative side and strong in writing. I found out that I share the same personality elements as Martin Luther King Jr. who I also share a birthday with. No problem with me, because I really admire him. I’m also thinking that most of the blogging community is INFJ, because we all should love to write, right? 🙂

This was really great fun!

Are you interested in taking the test yourself?
